By day Mayowa is a financial analyst; the rest of the time she is cultivating a community of book lovers – both on her platform and in person. She is the founder of @womensgroup_lagos, which is a women-only reading group that meets monthly to discuss literature, form friendships and collect sanitary product donations for young women and girls in need. She is also the host of Mayowa, In Conversation, a podcast in which she sits down with writers, journalists, photographers and creatives shaping the continent’s cultural conversation.
