As We Rise: Photography from the Black Atlantic compiled

The Wedge Collection, of which Dr Kenneth Montague is both owner and curator, is one of Canada’s largest private art collections. This compilation of photographs features iconic images within a contemporary exploration of African diasporic culture. Through a wide lens, images include those from Malick Sidibé, James Van Der Zee and Gordon Parks, plus the work of many lesser-known photographers too – as well as commentary by some of the most brilliant curators currently working.
