This week from Johannesburg, South Africa, we welcome Pheladi Sethusa! Pheladi is a multimedia journalist, documentary producer, and lecturer at the Wits Centre for Journalism, where she coordinates the honours programme and teaches the next generation of storytellers. She holds a Master’s in Digital Documentary from the University of Sussex, and her research and teaching now centre on podcasting, digital tools in journalism, and decolonising journalism education. Sethusa continues to produce podcasts and documentaries alongside her academic work, driven by a belief in storytelling that pushes people beyond their own worlds. Her are her 5 favourites:
