The Manor: Women in Art

Collectible magazine The Manor is led by world-renowned South African photographer Trevor Stuurman. Each issue has a theme, and this one focuses on women creating art across the continent – from women in music (including cover star Zoë Modiga) to artists and TV stars. It also has women in conversation with one another. I absolutely love it. The only suggestion that I have for the next issue, is: could you also include women in theatre, women in poetry, women in writing, and women in dance? Very often we’re relegated to the shadows and the truth is, we’re the ones who are also pushing the narrative forward. So, yeah.
